Visual Web Video Tutorial

Lesson 1: In the first lesson we are given a brief description of what each lesson will show. It shows you how to install the Visual Web Developer application. We are shown the basic controls of the program like how to create a new website etc. We are not shown anything complicated yet.

Web Site

Using Microsoft Web Developer I created a website for Northwind Traders and embedded their database into it.

To help plan out my website for the Northwind Database, I created a site map using Microsoft Word. This helps me see the basic layout of the site and what pages connect to each other.

Mr. Barr Letter

Dear Mr. Barr,
Thank you very much for helping me achieve a grade "A" in my GCE ICT. To attain this grade I had to pay full attention in class over the course of the year, and keep myself up to date on coursework. To make sure I worked as hard as I could I created a website which kept my targets for me, and I set dates to make sure I met those targets by a certain date. Another factor which helped me attain a grade A was reading over the information we learned in class each night at home, to make sure I didn't forget it.
My AS results were quite a disappointment to me, and I was surprised by how poorly I did in them. As a result of this I had to repeat modules 1 and 3 in January. After the resit my AS results were much higher, and there's no way I could have done as well as I did in my A2 ICT, without my AS resit.
